Office seating & workspace furniture
Manufactured in India
Est. Oakcraft
We make office chairs and tables on our own floor — frame, foam, fabric and assembly under one roof. You send a layout and a headcount; we send a sample, then the trucks.

OC / RP02 — Anatomy
Most chairs fail at the gas lift, the base or the foam — never at the fabric everyone looks at. Here is what goes into ours. Move down the list; the drawing follows.
03 — On the floor
Six stations, in order. Nothing is bought finished and re-badged, which is why a repeat order five months later still matches the first one.
MS tube is cut, bent and jig-welded, then powder-coated at 180°C. Cantilever and beam frames are finished here in the same run so the colour matches across a floor.
Seat and back foam is poured into moulds at 40-density rather than cut from a sheet. Moulded foam keeps its front edge, which is where a cut-foam seat collapses first.
Fabric and leatherette are cut to pattern, stitched and pulled over the moulded foam by hand. Your shade is matched against a physical swatch before the lot is cut.
Mechanism, gas lift, base and castors are married to the seat pan. Torque is set per joint, so the chair that leaves is the chair that was specified.
Sample chairs from each lot go on the rig: seat drop, back cycling, base load, castor run. Anything that fails sends the lot back a station.
Five-ply cartons, corner guards, fitment kit and an assembly card in each box. Loading plan is shared before the truck leaves so your site knows what lands first.
04 — Made to your spec
Pick the four things that change cost and comfort most. The code updates as you go — send it with your enquiry and we quote against it.

05 — Supply
Purchase orders accepted. Sample first, then the lot — with a dispatch plan that matches your fit-out schedule instead of ours.
| Order size | Sampling | Production | Dispatch |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 – 50 | Stock sample, 2 days | 7 – 10 days | Single consignment |
| 50 – 200 | Spec sample, 7 days | 12 – 18 days | Split by floor |
| 200 – 500 | Spec sample + load test | 21 – 30 days | Phased to site |
| 500+ | Pre-production lot | Scheduled release | Against fit-out plan |
06 — After delivery
A chair is a serviceable object. We keep the wear parts on the shelf and send a technician to the floor rather than asking you to ship chairs back.
Frame, base and mechanism covered from the date of delivery. Gas lifts and castors are wear parts and are replaced at cost after year one.
Gas lift, base, mechanism and castor replacement done at your desk. Re-upholstery is picked up in batches and returned inside a week.
Wear parts for every model we ship stay in stock for five years, so a chair bought today does not become unrepairable in 2029.
07 — Enquiry
Headcount, categories and city is enough to start. A drawing or a floor plan gets you a closer number.
Nothing was sent. This page has no mailbox behind it yet, so your enquiry stayed in the browser. Copy the details across to us directly and we will pick it up the same day.
