We build ergonomic chairs and office furniture at our own plant near Delhi and ship them knocked-down, sea-packed and documented — so what leaves our floor is what lands at your port. No trading house inside your margin.

Importers who call us have usually been through at least two of these. None of them show up on the quotation.
An importer doesn't lose money on the unit price. You lose it between the factory gate and your warehouse floor. Here is one 40 ft HQ of office chairs, and where the money actually leaks.
| Where it leaks | What happens on your side | On one 40 ft HQ* |
|---|---|---|
| Buying through a trading layer | You think you are buying factory-direct. There is an exporter in between, and his margin sits inside your landed cost. | $1,800 |
| Shipping air | Poor knock-down packing and cartons that waste the cube. You pay ocean freight for empty space. | $2,200 |
| Sea damage | Single-wall cartons, no edge protection, chrome bases unwrapped. A slice of every container lands unsellable. | $1,200 |
| Batch mismatch | The second shipment doesn't match the first, so you discount it or argue for a month. | $1,500 |
| Missed vessel | Production slips, the booking rolls, and detention and demurrage land on you — along with a late delivery to your own customer. | $900 |
| No spares available | Hardest one to price. You pay it in replaced chairs and a customer who stops calling. | The account |
| What a badly chosen supplier costs on one container | ≈ $7,600 | |

*Our estimates, from what importers tell us when they move their sourcing to us. Put your own last shipment in — the damage and cube lines usually surprise people.
Every leak above comes from the same thing: distance between you and whoever actually welded, moulded and stitched the chair. We're the ones who did.
Frames, mesh, foam, upholstery, assembly and finishing all happen at our own unit in Bawana, North West Delhi. There is no exporter between us and you, so there is no exporter's margin inside your landed cost.

Two different problems, and most suppliers solve neither. Chairs go knocked-down in cartons sized to stack, so the container closes full and opens undamaged.

Export paperwork is where small factories quietly fail their buyers. Ours goes out as a set, checked against the cartons actually in the container.

When you register a customer or a project with us, we don't quote that buyer behind you, and we don't pass their details to somebody else in your country.
If another buyer from your market is already on our books, we'll tell you on the first call rather than let you find out later. Country exclusivity on a model range is open for discussion once there's steady volume — ask, and what we agree goes into the proforma invoice.
We sell at retail on our own Indian website, which you can check any day. What we won't do is undercut an importer who is building a market for us.
For most importers this is the whole decision. Raise it on the first call.
Every one of these is checkable before you send a single dollar of advance.

Mix models in one container. Most first shipments carry two or three fast movers and a small quantity of everything else to test the market.

High-back mesh for a new floor, against a move-in date that couldn't slip. It didn't.
Supplied through GeM as the OEM, under MSE purchase preference.
Importers usually want a reference before the first container. Ask on the call — we'll tell you plainly who already buys from us in your region, and who doesn't.
“Oakcraft delivered a smooth bulk-order experience from start to finish. The chairs were well-finished, comfortable, and delivered as committed.”
“We were impressed with the quality and consistency of the chairs. The ordering process was straightforward and delivery was well coordinated.”
Companies that buy from us

You don't need model numbers. Your country, roughly what you stock and how much you move is enough for us to send real FOB prices and a loading plan.
Buying for your own offices abroad rather than to resell? Same form — just pick a project or fit-out, and we'll quote it as a single bulk shipment instead of trade pricing.

What your purchase and finance people will ask before they open an LC or release an advance.
| Minimum order | One 20 ft container, models can be mixed. Smaller LCL trial lots considered for a first shipment. |
| Incoterms | Ex-works, FOB (Indian port of your choice) or CIF to your port |
| Lead time | Roughly 18–25 days for a full container after sample approval and advance, depending on models and quantity |
| Packing | Knocked-down, five-ply export cartons, corner protection, chrome and armrests bagged. Model, quantity, CBM, weights and your order number printed on every carton. |
| Loading | Loading plan shared before production; photographs and video before the doors are sealed |
| Documents | Proforma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, draft B/L for your approval; fumigation certificate where required |
| Payment | 40% advance with the proforma invoice, balance against the scanned bill of lading. Irrevocable LC at sight considered on repeat orders. |

Terms above are our standard. Anything we agree differently with you goes into the proforma invoice, not into an email nobody can find later.
Better you know now than after three rounds of emails and a sample courier.
You need the chairs under your own brand. We supply as Oakcraft only — no private label, no third-party branding. If that is a requirement, we are the wrong factory for you.
You are chasing the lowest number in the market. There is always a cheaper chair, and usually a reason inside it — thinner gauge, uncertified gas lift, foam that flattens in a year.
You're an importer or distributor who needs the same model again next season, with matching batches and spares, so your customers can add chairs instead of replacing the lot.
You supply offices or fit-out projects abroad and need a factory that holds a production slot, gives you a real loading plan and tells you early when something slips.

Manufacturer. We build at our own unit in Poothkhurd, Bawana, North West Delhi, registered under Udyam as a manufacturing enterprise (UDYAM-DL-06-0171040). We are the OEM. Come and see it, or ask for a live video walkthrough — most serious buyers do one or the other.
One 20 ft container, and you can mix models inside it. If you want to test the market first, tell us — we'll look at a smaller LCL lot for a first shipment rather than push you into a full container.
Both, and ex-works if you'd rather control everything yourself. Tell us your destination port and we'll quote it the way you buy. If you have your own forwarder in India, we'll work to their booking.
It depends on the model, which is why we send a loading plan rather than a number. Knocked-down packing decides it — the same chair costs far more in freight if it ships assembled. Your price list carries carton size and CBM for every model, so you can work it out yourself.
Proforma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list matched to the carton marks, certificate of origin and a draft bill of lading for your approval before it is issued. Fumigation certificate where your country requires it. Ask for our IEC and registration documents with the first PI.
40% advance with the proforma invoice and the balance against the scanned bill of lading. Once there's a track record between us, an irrevocable LC at sight can be discussed.
Yes. Sample chairs go by courier and the cost is adjusted in your first order. Sit on it, show it to your customer — it's the cheapest due diligence available to you.
Three years against manufacturing defects. Shipping whole chairs back across an ocean helps nobody, so we settle in spares — gas lifts, castors, mechanisms, armrests — packed into your container as an agreed free percentage and topped up with the next one.
Yes, on running models — same shade, same mesh, same components. That consistency is the main reason importers move from a trading house to a factory. If a model is being phased out, we tell you before you build a catalogue around it.
No. We supply under the Oakcraft brand only — no private label and no third-party branding. Better you know that now than after three rounds of emails.
