Oakcraft is a leatherette chair manufacturer in India, cutting, stitching and upholstering every chair at its own factory in Poothkhurd, Bawana, North West Delhi. We have made chairs here since 2017, and our upholstery section is one of the busiest parts of our 3,000+ square metre floor.
Leatherette, also called PU or faux leather, gives a chair the look of leather at a practical cost, but the material varies a great deal in quality. Thin coatings crack and peel within a year or two in hot, humid rooms. We choose leatherette for peel resistance, stitch it over high-density foam and finish the seams so they hold up under daily use.

Will the leatherette peel or crack over time?
We select leatherette for peel resistance and avoid thin coatings that break down in heat and humidity. Peeling caused by a manufacturing defect is covered by our 3-year warranty, and we replace the chair or part rather than repair it.
How should leatherette chairs be cleaned?
Wipe them with a damp cloth and a mild soap or disinfectant, then dry them. Avoid harsh solvents, which can strip the surface finish over time.
Are you a leatherette chair manufacturer or do you buy chairs in?
We manufacture. The upholstery is cut and stitched at our factory in Poothkhurd, Bawana, North West Delhi, and we are registered under Udyam as a manufacturer and OEM.
Can a hospital order chairs in its own colour?
Yes. On bulk orders we can match the leatherette colour and stitching to your interiors and add logo embossing to the backrest.
